A slaw type salad made with raw beets, carrots and apple.
Wash and peel the beets and carrots.
Wash and core the apple(s).
Shred all items using your favorite method.
Toss together, top with your favorite dressing, serve and eat.
Serving suggesting:
Drizzle on a couple of tablespoons of Almond, Peanut and Cashew Butter Dressing add a spoonful of coconut flakes
The weights a guide only. Make as much as you want. I you end up with more beet than apple or apple than carrot it's no big deal. Just enjoy. I will also mix the ABC slaw with store bought (or homemade) broccoli & cauliflower slaw or even regular coleslaw.
My favorite dressing for this is Almond Nut Butter dressing.
